Dutch Bros rolled out its 2026 fall menu beginning August 21 across its 1,225 U.S. locations, bringing back the Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée and Cookie Butter lines and debuting a new Autumn Berry flavor. The launch makes Dutch Bros the third major U.S. coffee chain into the fall season within one week, after Dunkin' on August 19 and just ahead of Starbucks on August 25. For cafés and their suppliers, the important signal this year sits in the build rather than the flavor list: both returning lines are constructed around a Soft Top foam layer plus flavored drizzle, and across the competitive field cold foam is spreading well beyond pumpkin.
The fall lineup pairs two returning flavor platforms with one new one:
| Line | Status for 2026 | Build note |
|---|---|---|
| Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée | Returning | Pumpkin and salted caramel under a layer of Soft Top, pumpkin drizzle and raw sugar sprinks; runs across breve, latte, chai, Freeze, cold brew and more, nine drinks in total |
| Cookie Butter | Returning | Cookie butter flavor with a swirl around the cup, finished with Soft Top and a second cookie butter drizzle; hot and iced mochas, chais and lattes, including a protein latte |
| Autumn Berry | New | Pomegranate, orange and peach with a mixed berry fruit topping; available as a Rebel energy drink, a lemonade or a Myst Energy Refresher, blended or iced |
The new line matters beyond its flavor. Autumn Berry pushes the fall menu past the usual pumpkin and apple pair, and it lands on the Myst Energy Refreshers platform that Dutch Bros made a permanent menu fixture this year. Berry is having a wider moment this season: Sonic is launching a berry dirty soda, and even Pepperidge Farm is adding orange and cranberry cookies to its fall range.
Both returning lines are topped drinks by design. Each one carries a layer of Soft Top, the chain's signature dense sweet cold foam, plus one or two drizzle passes and, on the pumpkin build, a raw sugar finish. A drink constructed this way asks for two topping steps at the window, not one, and that per-drink topping workload is exactly what independent shops compete against when chains set the seasonal standard.
The scale behind the standard keeps growing. Dutch Bros reported second quarter revenue up 32 percent year on year to $551 million on August 5, its thirteenth consecutive quarter of positive comparable sales, and NACS puts the current footprint at 1,225 stores. A chain growing at that pace, centering its fall menu on foam topped builds, resets customer expectations for what an autumn drink looks like in every trade area it enters.
Dutch Bros is not alone on the calendar. Caribou Coffee's fall lineup pairs returning pumpkin with Honeycrisp apple, including a new Honeycrisp Cold Foam that guests can add to any beverage and a coffee-less Frozen Caramel Apple drink. 7 Brew, another fast growing drive-thru operator, launched its first app with order ahead and drink customization. Tim Hortons' U.S. locations are running a Harry Potter anniversary menu with themed donuts and color changing cold drink cups.
Two trends inside these launches deserve attention from anyone who sells or serves topped drinks. First, cold foam is now a platform rather than a single recipe: Caribou's Honeycrisp foam is explicitly built to sit on any drink, and Dutch Bros runs one Soft Top across coffee, chai and energy lines. Second, foam and fruit toppings are leaving the coffee category entirely, showing up on refreshers, lemonades and coffee-less frozen drinks.
